Does the unrooted Optimus G permit tethering?
How often does we expect firmware updates from the Optimus G? How big of a deal is this?

I live in an LTE area in the US, so this is really weighing heavily on me!

Yes Optimus g support tethering when rooted with custom rom

As far as stock Android updates from lg don't hold your breath past 1 maybe 2 updates
