Just got the Nexus 4 Wireless Charger. Having used the Palm Touchstone I'm very disappointed with this. My two main issues are:

  1. Screen doesn't stay on when phone is on the charger. I tried several different apps and can't get anything to work. I want my lock screen to always be turned on when the phone is on the charger so I can check at a quick glance if I have any new notifications, what the time is, etc...
  2. The bottom of the charger is not very sticky. The Touchstone had a great sticky material that grasped the table and wouldn't let go. This charger is very light and doesn't stick to the table at all, so when I pick up my phone I pick up the charger with it. Very annoying. Anyone have any tricks to getting the charger to be more sticky? Without glue hopefully :)

I agree it sucks...let me take it off your hands for $25. Lol! ;)

1. Just use the DayDream feature and make sure it's enabled when you're charging.. I recommend downloading ClockPlus DayDream, for notifications, time, etc.

2. double sided tape? lol that's how I would solve it

"ClockPlus DayDream" looks promising. However, I can't seem to get DayDream to work with the charger. I've tried all options "When docked, When charging, Either". DayDream doesn't start when I put the phone on the dock.

Any ideas?

Just let the phone sit there with the screen on (while charging of course). When the screen is suppose to time out (turn off by itself) it'll go into DayDreaming mode instead.

Hmm, are there any apps that will:

- Always start DayDream mode when I place the phone on the charger (regardless of if the phone was on or off before I put it there)
- Will go into DayDream mode immediately when I put it on the charger without waiting for the timeout
