Nexus 4 with slimport to hdmi, no audio to TV

Just got the slimport adapter yesterday, and connected my Nexus 4 with my LCD TV immediately. The image has no problem, but there's no sound out of TV. Sound is still from the phone. Tried different hdmi cable, different hdmi port on my TV, also tried the soundabout app to change sound output of the phone, no luck. I have run out of my mind what to do. Not sure it's the problem of my phone, my TV, or the slimport cable. Any suggestions? Thanks!

BTW, my TV can get sound from hdmi if connected to a stream player or a tablet.

Just got my slim port today and I'm having the same issue. I'm might return it if I can't find a solution soon enough. Might try a miracast device instead.

Same issue. Actually mine worked for about 2 days, now it only does video. I have searched everywhere for a solution. Have you had any luck?

Hi . was looking through this forum trying to find a solution to the same problem. And found it! While listening to music on the phone while looking at pictures on my telly I received a text, phone went blank and now music is going through the Slimport to the telly. hope this works for you
