so it started yesterday all of a sudden i cannot connect to android central in the stock browser over cell network (straight talk ATT). so i decided to download dolphin browser and see if that fixed the problem and it does the same thing. i went into the apps and cleared data and cache with no change. would ATT/ Straight talk have a reason to block a website? my APN settings are the following which seem to work on all other websites i go to:

Name: straight talk
APN: att.mvno
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
User Name: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy: 66.209.11.33
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: Not set
APN protocol: IPv4

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Thanks

Do you get an error page? Anything at all?

Some providers (not sure about ST-ATT) offer child-safe web blocking tools. Perhaps this function is enabled on your account and AndroidCentral has been incorrectly tagged?

nothing other than the following message after a long time: Oops! google chrome could not find androidcentral try reloading: Android Central

Android Central was having some server issues yesterday. Things have been resolved and should be returning to normal for everyone.

One of the mods reported that AC was having server probs yesterday.

LOL ninja'ed. Thanks Paul :)

okay that makes more sense as now i am getting a dns error. likely straight talk/att needs to update their dns servers if android central made any changes.
