AC Question

Hello,
this morning my Nexus 4 powered off so I had to put it to charge because the battery was completely dead. Now, for the first time in 4 years that I've been having this phone, the battery icon doesn't show up and the phone does not start. The USB cable sheath was a bit damaged, so I thought it was the cable and I replaced it with another one in good condition and to try if the cable was good I put in charge another device. Nothing, it doesn't work, I still have the same problem. I have tried as well pressing power and volume down buttons for 30 seconds. However, there is no red light. If someone can help, I would really appreciate it.

The charging port has probably died. You may have to change the motherboard. Its time to let go of that device. To fix it will cost you a lot, even if you manage to get someone who is willing to do it. Also at this point you are not getting security updates which makes your phone a easy target.
