what are we looking at?

October 14 - Announcement Date?
October 30 - For Sale Date?

I don't see the point of a 16GB with no micro SD. I'd love for the industry to wise up and start 32/64GB. The Note 3, One, and other phones have started to make 32GB the minimal amount of internal storage.

Because it saves the manufacturer a couple of bucks and as long as the 16gb iPhone is the best selling device on the market there is no real motivation to stop making 16gb devices. Many users here require more space but 90 percent of mainstream consumers have more than enough with 16gb.

Internal Storage is much faster and much more secure than External SD Card Storage.

My daughter has the 32GB iPhone and her friends are absolutely AMAZED that it's 2/3 full. They can't understand how she knows about all this music. None of them has more than a couple hundred songs.

Parkinson's Law of Data - “Data expands to fill the space available for storage”.

With that in mind, we are told that the 16GB LG Nexus 5 will feature a 2300mAh battery and will be priced lock, stock and barrel for $299. The 32GB LG Nexus 5 will be powered by a 3000mAh cell and will be priced at $399.

I want to believe, but sadly I don't think they will have a different battery for each version.

I'd have to go with 32gb if it means more battery. I've hardly used 5 GB on my n4 as of now.

Definitely a strange rumour about the different models having different battery sizes, but one I am hoping turns out to be true! This would make the next Nexus the smartphone to own hands down without question.
