Nexus 5, broken screen. Any suggestions?

Nexus 5, broken screen.

I accidentally broke my Nexus 5's screen yesterday and since after I've been unable to load some sites, google.com works fine. Sites such as this aren't loading and some in app internet activity can't be done it takes forever to load. On Instagram the activity feed refreshes but the pictures do not load. This issue has been there after I broke my screen, before that it was working perfectly fine. I'm on cyanogenmod 13 currently. Can anyone please help to what is this issue? Did something else also break when it fell? Please respond asap, thank you.

A remote diagnosis is hardly possible, alas, but yes, it's quite possible that damage other than that to the screen was done.
