Nexus 5 Call Answering - Alarm Shutoff

Hi All,

I have finally jumped the Apple ship and got myself a Nexus 5. So far I am very happy with it, however still learning the android platform so forgive the noob question but here is my one issue so far:

I am a lefty, so when going to answer my phone my natural slide motion is to the left. Problem is that for incoming calls and for my alarm, sliding to the left ends the call or turns the alarm off (not snooze). Is there a way to make is so a slide to the left will answer a call instead of end it or more importantly my alarm - I was definitely late to work today! haha
