Nexus 5 can't log in to Facebook messenger

Messenger doesn't work in Facebook app and can't log in to the Facebook messenger app itself. I keep getting the error of try again something seems to be wrong. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue and any potential fixes

I'm having this problem too, I hope there is a fix. I tried resetting my phone to factory settings and that didn't help so I wouldn't recommend you trying it.

From what I've looked up it also was a problem for the nexus 4 at the time and there weren't many successful attempts at fixes. Hopefully fb fixes it cause its surprisingly annoying as you receive notifications of getting a fb message but can't reply to it when your on the go with only your mobile.

"Solution for little time": try in airplane mode or extract the SIM card..but with you put con the SIM the fix go back. Sorry for the inglish i'm hondurian.

Did you ever find a solution for your log in problems...mine started having the same problem 2 weeks ago...i think i have tried everything
