Nexus 5 case is coming apart

Is anyone else having their nexus 5 case snap apart?

Mine did this on the top of the phone and on the bottom, where the case pieces come together.

I was able to snap both times back into place, but I don't know why it came unsnapped?

Yeah that will happen when you drop it....

I've seen similar things happen on other phone by simply carrying the phone in a pocket. Put a CD or DVD in your pocket, then sit down and look at how much the CD/DVD bends.

It could have dropped or been put into an awkward position in a pocket.

it definitely was not dropped.

between this, the loose buttons, and GPS problems wondering if i should contact Google about a replacement?

Regardless of the cause of the case coming apart, it's definitely something I would talk to Google about. Hopefully you can get a replacement without too much hassle.

ive only had this problem once when i dropped it. 3 feet onto tile. otherwise fine.

just called into UK customer support.

they pushed back initially on replacing the device due to just the rattle loose button problem, even after i mentioned that other people have been reporting that they are getting replacement devices for this problem. but when i reported the case coming apart they acquiesced and are sending me a new phone.
