nexus 5 froze on black screen while i was trying to root it and recover data

nexus 5 froze on black screen while i was trying to root it and recover...
it doesn't power it self off i tried holding power button... I removed cover and tried unpluging it from battery that didin't help... any way i could restart it from pc or smth?
