Nexus 5 - need help with windows vista.....

Trying to root my nexus 5 but it can't update USB drivers keeps asking for a disk. I have looks up ways to update them but to no avail. Can someone please help can't root until this is fixed.

Hello,

I'm not one for use of Toolkits but one thing they are great at is installing the drivers.. From there if your the type that likes to take the manual route and do things by hand then awesome! If not, carry on and allow the toolkit to work its magic for you.

Tried that too did not work... Still did not put the drivers in and still could not find device.

Have you tried using PDAnet on your computer to install the drivers?

Leave it on your computer after its done.. It will/should act as a bridge to connect up.

how do I go about doing that? I'm following the steps to install drivers from the toolkit but I don't know if that will work right now I'm still on the second process

I finally got it all to work with the toolkit I am running CyanogenMod now. Thanks all.
