Nexus 5 screen replacement : turn on temporarily, but stay black.

Hi,

I replaced my Nexus 5 screen and digitizer.

When I press the start button, sometimes screen will emit light but stay black. Sometimes it doesn't start. I tried making sure everything was secured by pressing at different places and holding it to figure out a pattern to always make it start, but I was unsuccesful.

The light will sometime stay open for 30 secs; it's the time I set it up to stay lit before. The light will sometime stay open for various amount of time, but always under 30 secs.

When I connect it to the pc, it is detected. I can't access files because I have to allow first on the phone screen, which I can't.

Any help would be welcome,

Welcome to Android Central. Not sure what to say other than taking it to a repair shop. Would have to assume something is not put back together or connected properly.
