Nexus 5 sprint to tmo settings?? Help

My daughter bought a sprint nexus 5 today on cl
ive tried my tmo sim in it and it says it can not connect to network
can someone please instruct me, step by step, how to make it work with my prepay tmo? I dont speak robot and ive been at this for hours !!

1. put the T-Mob SIM Card in and then REBOOT (turn phone off, turn on again). if that doesn't work -

2. i would make sure everything is backed up (Synced with Google Gmail, Dropbox, Google+, etc.) . then i would do a factory reset to clear out any Sprint settings and put the phone back to a fresh factory state. then with the T-Mob SIM Card in the phone reboot. again - be sure all data is synced and backed up first before you factory reset the phone. with a factory fresh phone you should be able to insert new SIM card and reboot and get T-Mob service.

Sprint N5 have issues with Sim cards on occasion. Try switching from LTE to 3g.
