Nexus 5?

The Nexus line of devices have always been my favorite (and are great as a developer). Definitely looking forward to the next one.

LG is making it. Probably based on the Optimus G 2 (Nexus 4 was based on the Optimus). Motorola will be building the next Nexus after that.

The Optimus G 2 is coming in Q3 to all major carriers. There are three versions of the phone being released.

Snapdragon 800 @ 2.0Ghz (Only known chip able to produce benchmarks left on Antutu).

I'm not gonna mind if LG make it again because I quite like the build quality of the N4. But they better not screw up production volumes again. The N4 always seems to be constantly sold out.

OMGZ you are the developer responsible for the awesome Android central app right?

I hope they will include removable battery and SD slot for nexus 5

That seems unlikely expecially the microsd... Google calls the shots and they apparently want you focusing on the cloud not removable storage...

It's actually because of the SD card technology being old, slow and buggy. That's why Samsung and others that include them have so many issues with them. Their solution was increased focus on the cloud, however in my opinion they could have accomplished better by emphasizing more internal storage. But yeah, I'd agree 99% chance we never see SD storage in another nexus phone or tablet again.

I've never had a problem with my sd cards with Samsung devices? If the nexus 5 got an SD card slot it'd definitely get more sales. But I do agree we will probably never see that on a nexus device

This is a thread about people who are having issues: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...iling-galaxy-s3-samsungs-insane-response.html There are tons of these threads around the web, but it's kind of biased because no one starts a thread to say, "hey, no issues here :)".

My next phone will be the next Nexus that's available on Verizon. I love my 32gb, no SD card, Amoled screen, 3800 mAh LTE beast.

Here, here. Ditto. Sprint, CDMA, LTE. Lovin' that 3800 mAh battery!

I don't think Google will leave CDMA out the next time around. It's all about demographics. They lost out on a lot of customers with the strictly GSM version. I know CDMA is US only, but that's still a lot of people between VZ and Sprint.
