Nexus 5X - Sluggish and laggy since update.

It may have been laggy since before, but definitely since the update. This phone takes seconds to swict between apps. It hangs when opening apps. It is running horribly. It was all of a sudden, once it was good, then it was awful.

I am very dissapointed.

Have you tried clearing the cache? I would try that first -- the worst thing you may have to do is a FDR.

Also try safe mode. Oftentimes there is an app or more than one app that is struggling to play nice with the new OS.

How does one get into safe mode and what does one do once one is there to do as you suggested? Thx!

With the phone turned on, hit the power button, In the box that opens, press and hold the "Power off" and you'll see "Reboot in safe mode". Press "OK"

I just got my update last night, and I have had no problem with lag. In fact, the only place I was having lag prior to the update was the camera, and that seems to have been resolved.
