Nexus 6 can't receive pictures

Every time my girlfriend sends me pictures I can't get them through hangouts or messenger. Is anybody having this issue also?

Is your mobile data on, with a good signal? Remember that pictures over text is MMS, which requires mobile data (and not voice signal or wi-fi).

Is your girlfriend using an iPhone? Did you used to have an iPhone? If so, did you completely deactivate iMessage before switching to Android? If you didn't, that can prevent messages sent from iPhones from getting to you.

I'm assuming that your on sprint.. They've been having that problem since the phone came out. I have to keep mine on 3g or else my texts are slow to send. Ohh.. And you can't be on the phone when she sends the picture.. Slows it down even worse.

It seems the Sprint/texting problems are in the Samsung markets which who makes/supports those towers.
I am in the Atlanta area which is an Erricson market, I believe, and have had Zero problems with texting and my N6.
Sprint is aware of the problem and are looking into a fix.
