Nexus 6 is Live on Motorola's Website

Yeah several people have received an email... Funny part is I signed up to "Be notified" on Motorola, T-Mobile and Google play and have yet to receive a single email (But on a positive note last Thursday I just luckily checked the Moto site and got a 64 GB on the way... Page monitor did nothing other than notify me it was in stock for a second but now gone)

Same, though Motorola actually sent a notification to me. 19 minutes late, but I received it.

This is so retarded! I was able to back order the 32GB with shipping 12/2. Why can't I back order 64 GB? Even if stock won't be filled until January, I should be able to back order it! STUPID!

Well I tried to preorder, went to confirm order, and then it took me back to motorola home page with no confirmations wtf

Was the estimated tax way off for those of you who ordered? I clicked through the purchase up to the point of submitting the order, and the tax for a 32GB device was estimated at $52.00. My state's sales tax (Pennsylvania) is 6%, which is $39.00. Does the tax correct itself at the time of order?

I should move 50 miles south to Delaware, where the sales tax would be $0.00!

They usually do over estimate and then correct it at time of invoice (final charge) if they do not and the tax seems off after the final charge goes through you might have to contact Motorola to have them correct it... I saw where a few people who ordered on November 6 when the final charge hit over the weekend the total was lower than the original preauthorization charge at time of order...

Just keep an eye on it....

mine got corrected as well..

Page Monitor didn't help me either. I actually got an email because I chose to be notified when it was in stock.....got a Blue 32GB on Motorola credit.

Right! I watching page monitor like a hawk while watching the AC podcast and out of nowhere my iphone vibrated and it's moto telling me they have it. Just glad I was able to get one finally.

does anyone know what's Motorola cancel policy? Google play will allow you to cancel on the website, but I don't see it on the moto site. I'm not scheduled to get it until the 26,but wouldn't mind getting a 64 gig and a week sooner at tmobile if possible.

I saw someone on here say you can't cancel. That they send you the phone and you have to send it back.

I asked when I was thinking of getting one from T-Mobile yesterday and they told me you have to refuse the shipment and once it's returned they issue credit.....

This is correct. I ordered one on Motorola's site and in spite of the weeks ahead before delivery, they won't cancel the order. They pre authorize the return and as soon as you take delivery, you call their 1800 and confirm you still want to return the phone for a credit - seems like a poorly organized pre order system costing them money - see official response below from Motorola:

We have received your request to cancel your order for the Nexus 6. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes to an order after it has been submitted to our factory, even if the order is not going to ship for several weeks.

This is part of our security procedures to reduce the chance of orders being improperly cancelled. The only solution we can offer is for you to contact us when you receive the phone and have us process a return shipment. This would include us emailing you a pre-paid return shipping label.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Interesting. Definitely seems like a waste of shipping, especially since they pay the cost of it.

If you go to motorola's site and search return phone you can start the process there. Only problem is you need the phones IMEI number which you won't get until the phone is delivered.

Actually you can still request to cancel before delivery - just insert all zeros for the IMEI number and they'll find your order via the Order Number instead. Their pop down window via the returns page doesn't even show the Nexus 6 yet so I just selected Moto g and received a confirmation to return once delivered

Isn't it sad how these big companies have these crappy policies, then they offer you a crappy solution to said crappy policy, then they apologise for how crappy they have treated you?
