Doesn't look like it, it was mostly security updates last week. I just flashed factory, have to start fresh on something this big.

Fastest way for that used to be to reset and install ota update while SIM card is removed.

Ya l did that for 5.1&5.1.1 but att actually had started rolling out OTA official I just didn't want to wait. I backed up everything removed sim and did a factory reset . have not had a issue doing it that way.. Haven't heard anything about them pushing out OTA

Lol.. Was typing and got disconnected.. Got an update notification... Said update over WiFi only until the 15th. So I ran the update. It turns out it was only an update from LMY48M TO LMY48T?..

I just bit the bullet and sideloaded using Android NRT. It was ridiculously easy and took 30 minutes.

Wifes Nexus 5 from Google got the 6.0 OTA yesterday, upgraded flawlessly and she's good to go.

"Best explanation I could find on how to flash the kernel, will try this tonight.

Look for post # 4163

Marshmallow | WugFresh - Part 2 "

Can now confirm that this works. Under TWRP, flash the new kernel, then flash SuperSU and Busybox and you have root! Works like a champ!!

Thanks! Many people have posted the exact same thing. I wonder how many more security update posts we will get?

This is the Nexus 6 forums.

Just thought it was odd that a 5 got the update before the 6's. I always thought that they rolled out to newer devices first, that's been my experience in the past.

Well... the wild card here is that there are a bazillion different builds for the 6.... Google has to build an OTA for each of the different builds, then they have to deal with waiting on carrier qualification. Its a mess, and probably reinforced to Google why dealing with carriers is a royal PITA.

Notice the 6P and 5X are Google-direct and they won't sell through carriers? Look here
