Nexus 6 : Problems with multiple bluetooth devices?

I am coming from a gpe s4 and I'm liking the 6 so far but one thing that I have been having a problem with is connecting more then 1 bluetooth device at once. In my car I sync to the bluetooth for phone but I also sync to a blackberry music gateway for music. I can pair them both but the next time I get in the car I always have to reconnect the music gateway. My s4 used to connect to both everytime no problem? It's a minor problem I guess but kind of annoying. Any ideas?
