Nexus 6 Security Improvements

Are there any features of the Nexus 6 that enhance security for the user?

Given that the manufacturer is Motorola, I was hoping for a fingerprint scanner, similar to what was on the Motorola Atrix 4G. (I'm surprised Motorola hasn't continued to develop fingerprint scanning technology since then.) Unfortunately, the Nexus 6 won't have that feature.

Maybe there's something better than a fingerprint scanner? Otherwise, I guess we're stuck with passwords.

Face unlock is now faster and it works in the background rather than showing a picture.
You can use paired Bluetooth devices for 'smart lock' to skip a pin.

But these are L features, not specific to Nexus 6. The phone has no security features. Would've loved to see a fingerprint scanner.
