I had a large abrasion on the right edge of the phone that I got two weeks after I bought the phone. I have no idea how it happened; I never dropped it or treated it roughly. I considered the options of replacing but in the end, I just dealt with it.

Now, it's cool with me, and in fact, I see it as making the phone more "personal."

I wouldn't make a big deal about it.

I like this theory.... Personalized. I don't like when it happens, but when it does embrace it. I would be disappointed if I received a brand new out of the box scratched phone though.

I would be disappointed to. I prefer to use cases, icon packs, and wallpaper to personalize but sometimes you have to embrace and play with the hand you're dealt.
