nexus 6 unlocked to verizon

Coming from a note 4, the nexus 6 uses a different sim card so they are unswapable. If i buy a nexus 6 unlocked from amazon, will verizon set up a new sim card for the nexus 6 while im paying for a note 4 ?

I bought mine from amazon too. Went to verizon store and they got me a new sim card and activated it for free. Say it was a gift.

Thanks. Did you tell them you had a 6P ? Or did you just say you got a gift that needed a nano ?
