Nexus 6 update to 5.0.1 failing?

My T-Mobile Nexus 6 has recently downloaded the OTA update for 5.0.1. When I try to install the update, it goes to a black screen with a lil Android in the middle, and a message that says 'error'.

I've tried installing it multiple times now and every time I get an error.

My bootloader is unlocked, so I was wondering if this has anything to do with it? I have not rooted the device or flashed any custom roms or anything like that.

And if it is my bootloader, could someone explain to me how to relock it on Mac OS? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. It's not the unlocked bootloader; my Nexus 5 got the update last night, and it installed fine. I have seen some issues with OTA updates and the Nexus 6.
