Nexus 6, Verizon, and Google Voice voicemails not working

My Google Voice only works for a bit, then it kicks back to Verizon Voicemail. Anyone have a solution?

It stopped working on my Google purchased Nexus 6 as well. When I try to add call forwarding on Verizon's website it tells me call forwarding is not available on the Nexus 6. How is that? It was working just fine a month ago. I can't add call forwarding with *71 either. It says that the call be completed as dialed.

Yeah, when I try to set up call forwarding it doesn't work. I've looked every where online and can't find an answer.
