Nexus 6P Mistaken for Pixel?

Since the pixel 2 release it's easier to see how the 6p was it's forerunner. Has anybody mistaken your 6p for a pixel 2 XL yet? It happened to me tonight

If it's in a case, it's easy to see how it could be mistaken (at least from a distance). The size is comparable, and there are the two front-firing stereo speakers.

Nope but I could see it happening if its in a case, especially since most people have no idea what the 6P looks like.

If we mean clear case (which is what I have) then I can see the comparison. But your right...most ppl have never heard of a Nexus 6P. Maybe back in 2015 (the Nexus brand) but definitely not now.

With the stock Android look and their iconic front facing speakers yeah I could see people mistaking it for a Pixel. Most of the Nexus phones looks similar, at least the front part does (all black with front facing speaker grill)

I think the back does too...more so if you have the white and black Nexus like I do.
