Nexus 6P not receiving texts in car via Bluetooth

My 6P works fine with Bluetooth in the car except for texts which I miss. I have a 2013 Accord. Are texts working for others? Maybe marshmallow?

What do you mean by text miss? It doesn't read your texts?

Correct texts are not read they don't come through at all calls work. I even tried the stock app. Always worked with my S6

It could be that the car needs a firmware update. Take a look at this thread and read through it to see if it helps: http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-6p/603641-nexus-6p-bluetooth-issues-car.html

It was started for calls. However, may also address the text problem that you are having.

My Skoda Superb connects to my Nexus 6p texts about 50%of the time!!! Why???
