Nexus 6p on Nougat

So I flashed the last dev build of Nougat. When I went to set up my Google account it keeps saying my password is bad when it's not.

Every other device I have has accepted that password. The nexus won't.

Any thoughts? Has anyone else encountered this?

Seems to me something similar happened to another poster a few weeks ago...

Anyway, does your phone have a Wi-Fi or cellular data connection yet? If not, do those things first and then try your Google account info again.

PS: You flashed it? Do you mean that you downloaded the install file and then manually flashed it using ADB?

Why? If you had simply signed up for the beta program, it would have come to your phone OTA and there would be no need to deal with the issues you are dealing with now. https://www.google.com/android/beta

It takes forever for Google to provide the OTAs, if you want it fast you install the factory image. I've gone the direct install route on the last couple beta releases, it works fine. Installing the image via USB also does a complete cleanup, that increases the time before the phone is available again because you have to wait for all of your apps to reinstall but the upside is that everything is initialized so there is no old state laying around that can cause problems.
