Nexus 6p or 5x

Thank you all for the input, I'll have to go to a store and play with a LG V10 and /or 6s, just to get a feeling of the size!!

I'll decide in the next few days and let you all know when I do. I'm glad you are enjoying this phone.. Nexus all the way! I might miss the on screen notification from motor x, from my understanding the Google implementation is not that great.

yes google implementation is not that great but it still works. you have to pick the phone up to see the notification unlike just touching the phone on moto X

You are right to mention the speakers, they make a huge difference. On my old N5 the speaker volume was terrible, when I was navigating I had to use a bluetooth speaker because you could barely hear the built in speaker. The speakers on the 6P are very loud so I no longer need the bluetooth speaker for navigation (although I use big bluetooth speakers at home for music). I don't know if the 5X has the same lousy speaker as the 5, hopefully they improved it, but it's a single speaker unlike the 6P which has two speakers.

yeah that's where they come in clutch for me, in the car on nav ... I use speaker phone a lot more now than I ever had. If I'm consuming media, it's typically on my iPad via Bluetooth, but it's nice having quality audio when showing a friend a clip or gaming for an hour.

the 5x speaker is an improvement over the 5, but nowhere near the 6p. I feel bad for people that wanted a smaller display, cause the 5x should've just been a smaller 6p. There's really no reason to buy it IMO.

It's MUCH closer to the 6s than the V10 ... although similar in size, the ergonomics of the V10 are a lot different. The iPhone is a much better comparison.

And don't let the fact that it's slippery (which it is) deter you. Slap on a slim case and there's your grip without the bulk. It's such a great phone!

My only concern with the size is where do you go from here? Going to a smaller screen would feel well strange now

Tell me about it. I'm wondering what is going to be available when I retire my Nexus 6. Even a 5.7" is noticeably smaller to me. I wouldn't even mind a 6.2" phone if they can shrink the bezels.
