Nexus 6p Quick setting bar

Hi,

I just switched from an iPhone to the Nexus 6p and so far I am really excited about the phone. I am just wondering if it is somehow possible to deactivate the quick setting bar on the lock screen?

On the lock screen? Do you want to prevent it from pulling down?

Yes, exactly. Is that possible without flashing the phone with a custom rom?

No it's not. You can disable the individual settings through the System UI Tuner ("Quick Settings") but it also disables them when the phone is unlocked. I wanted to disable some on lock screen only such as airplane mode, GPS, etc in case I lost my phone, so I just disabled those individual settings.

So to answer your question, you can disable some or all the settings but it also disables them when the phone is unlocked.
