I wonder if this thing will be coming with headphones too. One of the videos from India mentioned it will come with them. Not a big deal if it doesn't, but that's always nice I think. And I know a lot of times manufacturers add in region specific things too, so maybe headphones for India but not US.

Does the dark graphite color have those shiny chamfered edges? I was going to go graphite but I really like how that looks on his Aluminum one.

edit: no it doesn't. I'm going to get the Aluminum, it looks a little fancier and I don't think it'll show scratches as much as the graphite either.

I must say...that's a pretty nice presentation. I'm sure you guys are going to love this phone. I'm sticking to my Nexus 6 however. I can't wait to see what Google brings in 2016.

The two videos posted already I think are both from India... the first one really looks like an unboxing, the second one the person already had the box open, and did not even have a Type-C to Type-C cable for the charger in the box. To think they misspoke in these is an understatement. They are rushing to be the first to post a video.

I'm looking forward to seeing an unboxing video done just a little more professionally in the US, but it still looks like we might be another week or two from that... and I might have my own in hand by that time... at least I hope I have mine about the same time!!! :'( :-\

It looks like they actually gave them boxes to open for themselves at the event...cause the one actually unboxes like the complete thing, but then he takes a picture of what looks like the event. But I am also waiting for more in depth and professional review.

I just pre-ordered a 32GB Graphite 6p from Flipkart.com, one of the launch partners for Ggle in India. Flipkart are offering a case and a pair of headphones (maybe earphones) with the phone, among other things. So it may be that headphones aren't part of the box contents.

That's exactly how I felt but I had a different outcome. I was very concerned before, but after I held it and did some pocket drills (sitting pulling it out and such) my tune changed completely. Yeah it's going to be an adjustment for me to carry it around and manage it but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, and as far as the screen real estate I am all for having almost an inch more screen than I have now.

I was also concerned but went to a Verizon store and handled a Note 5 and iphone 6s+, and my concern went away. The screen is not so much bigger than my Nexus 5 that I will still be able to reach most of what I need easily. It is the extra top/bottom bezel that really can screw up situations where you put the phone in your pocket. For me, I have my N5 in my pocket at the gym playing my tunes on my headphones. So, I found a cool little gizmo that will solve that problem if the N6 is always falling out of my pocket at the gym:

Even the black iPhone 5 had chamfered why would waway not include this on the graphite nexus 6 it only makes it look that more elegant geesh i ordered this one well if it doesn't look as good as the silver and white i will send it back for one of those not gonna loose my place in the pre order line now.

Do you know how long that would take to charge? Even at 15w it would take too long which is probably why they wouldn't put such a large battery. That plus the additional cost.

3450 is still a pretty large battery.

Given that the phone's width is already on the higher side, it is important that the thickness be on the low to make the device easier to hold.

No, the lighter colors have a shiny beveled edge on the face, the graphite apparently does too but you can barely see it
