Nexus 6P - using other fast chargers.

I have a few moto fast chargers and anker ones. They are made for quick charge 2.0 if I use a USB type a to 3 cable can I use them and will they quick charge my 6p?

They won't charge rapidly if you use a cable that meets USB specifications. The best you'll get is 1.5A charge rate.

I know what you mean. Even if I use the cables he approves of I won't get fast charging from a quick charge 2.0 block like the moto block?

No. Quick Charge is a Qualcomm technology that the Nexus 6P does not utilize.

I have a number of chargers including Qualcom 2 chargers. If you use a non-compliant cable the chargers will deliver 2.5A, if you use a compliant cable you will be limited to 1.5A.

Yup, that's why I just went ahead and bit the bullet, and bought 2 oem chargers on amazon. About $25 a piece. I have 3 total now, 1 for bedroom, 1 for living room, 1 in backpack for travel.
