Dxo didn't exactly "nail it" with the super high ratings for the Moto X Pure Edition (outside of broad daylight). Also the ratings are essentially a tie among cameras 3 through 9 (since this isn't scientific and they are separated by just 2 points).
I believe Dxo is selling these top reviews to generate traffic as every major blog creates click-bait articles about the rating. Is there *really* a difference between an 84 and an 82? Or does exclusive access (or a small amount of cash) get you into the top few spots as long as your camera is pretty good in broad daylight?
Not to mention look at some of the things they call out on the 6P cons:
"-The strong jello effect due to the stabilization provides unpleasant videos during motions scenes.
-Refocus are visible under illuminant changes and thefocus is lost during tracking movement."
Have you tried watching a video with bad stabilization? It's nauseating. Bad DIS and Google *still* hasn't fixed the constant refocusing issue the Nexus 6 had (which absolutely ruins videos, and is still an issue on the marshmallow previews so dont believe for a second a software update will fix these issues)? And it's the second best cell camera in the world....or the camera is fine in broad daylight and dxo is getting a ton of ad review for giving it an extra point or two on a subjective scale?
