Is there an alternative to a Refurb Gen 2 Nexus 7 ?

My primary use will be as a GPS for the car and occasional photos and to do just a bit of internet access for a specific website that I use for work.

There are many tablets that can do what you want. I use the 2013 N7 solely in my car with tasker and it works great.

What specifically were you liking for from an alternative. There are a few choices out there.

A refurbished unit is fine.

I would like something a bit less costly and a decent rear camera with good battery life.

Since I will not be using it for games or video streaming a very fast processor and lots of storage space is not important.

The 2013 model has both front and rear cameras. The 2012 model doesn't.
