Hi all...yesterday my Nexus 7 started to suddenly slow down. I was reading a PDF file in MoonReader and it suddenly exited the app. At that point apps would become unresponsive, updates would fail, and everything just became painstakingly slow. After rebooting a couple times I decided to shut it off for the night. Since there was 75% battery left, I didn't plug it in.
This morning when I turned it on, it was behaving the same way. I shut it down again, but now I cannot get it powered up. I tried a few other suggestions from other posts such as: holding the power for 30 seconds or more, plugging in and holding power with volume down, I removed the back to ensure battery connection is seated properly...but none of these worked. When I plug it into my laptop, I now get the "unrecognised device" error message.
I love this device and use it constantly for taking notes, reading, etc. and would hate to think that it dead after less than a year of owning it. If anyone has an ideas or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!!
