Nexus 7 (2013) Install Button

I just recently updated my tablet with the latest security updates and cannot install any apk that I download even though I can press the cancel button when it prompts me "Do you want to install this application?" It's almost like the button is blocked.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

Also, I do have it set to install from unknown sources.

This is a pretty common problem IF you happen to have an app that is using a screen overlay (ex. Twilight https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../details?id=com.urbandroid.lux&token=qUwU7E40). I've not come across the issue from an OS update but I have seen others report that.
