It's odd, I got Lollipop on my N7 last week, but the one we got for my Dad on that $149 Groupon offer hasn't gotten anything yet. When I powered it on, it got all the KK updates right away, but no LP yet.

A number of people (though by no means all) have been having problems with 5.0.1 as well. I never received 5.0 but did get the notification for 5.0.1, but I waited before installing, and a few days later the notification disappeared. Lots of people have reported something similar. Looks like Google may have pulled 5.0.1. I'm delighted I stayed with KitKat 4.4.4.

Yep ,I'm one of those that did the same thing as you and the I lost the update as well. It has yet to reappear. As it seems, probably for the better.
I'll stick with kit Kat for the foreseeable future.

That's funny, considering one of their recent updates had some pretty major issues. How about asking for some help in a new thread on this forum, rather than digging up an old one & just complaining? There are some very helpful folks on here, and sometimes a device that seems doomed isn't.

I received 5.0.2 on my unlocked 2013 N7 LTE but if If yours is a carrier N7 LTE then you need to wait for the carrier to push the OTA. Otherwise history proves that the N7 LTE versions get the OTA last..which is a good thing.
