Nexus 7 2013 Stuck on Google Logo

My Nexus 7 2013 model (with KitKat) rebooted itself yesterday. When it started turning back on it got stuck on the Google logo and would boot up no further. I tried doing a soft and hard reset but the process of getting stuck on the Google logo repeats itself and it never goes any further.

Can anyone offer any help?
