I have the Google Nexus 7 Tablet and a Huawei E5332s mobile hotspot which refuse to work together?

Is there a download which will fix it?

Not much to go on here but my guess is that it's the level/type of security setup on the hot spot. Back it down to wep or no security at all just to see if you can connect at all.
