Nexus 7 battery rapidly drains after Lollipop install

My tablet updated to Lollipop 5.0.2 about a week ago. There have been a couple instances when the battery will drain rapidly. Just this morning, the battery went down 50% after less than an hour of use. There have been other days when the tablet has worked fine (at least battery-wise). Any thoughts on what's wrong and how to fix it?
