Nexus 7 Charging

Just purchased Google Nexus 7 16GB. When I connect to the charger, how can I see whether and when the tablet if fully charged? Neither Google's user manual nor an aftermarket book I bought bother to mention that.

Get a battery monitor widget, you can have it show your percentage among other things.

You can also go to settings > battery to see the charge.

There is also a battery icon in the status bar.

There is unfortunately no notification light on the N7.

Then the screen on and see if it say fully charged?
