Nexus 7 connectivity issue

My Nexus 7 isn't connecting to my home wifi.....And It is only happening on my home wifi, not my friends' wifi or family's wifi or hotspots. Every other device at home (smart TV, laptop PC, 2 smartphones...) is working fine.
It is driving me crazy. I forgot and re-added the network several times. Turned wifi on and off. Wiped system cache from recovery. I even did a factory reset (three times) to troubleshoot the issue. Still no go. SOS

Connect to your friend's router or your family's router (with permission, of course) and look in the WiFi section to see what kind of encryption they're using. (It's probably going to be AES.) The address to connect to depends on the router, but it's usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 - the latter is more common. Check with Google for the particular router's address, like linksys ea4500 gateway address.

Now use a PC or laptop, connect to your router, and see what encryption it's set to. Set it to the same as one you can connect to. (Most likely, since it's the most secure, set the security mode to WPA2 Personal, and whatever encryption method you found in the one that works.) Check to see that the range of DHCP isn't limited to just the number of devices that are already connected. Check to see that there's no MAC address that's not allowed to connect. (If there is, check in your phone to see what your SiFi MAC address is - if they match, that's the problem, you're not being allowed to connect.)

Those are about the only things I can think of at the moment.
