Guy on cragslist here has a N7 with a cracked screen for $60. The ad didn't say which it was (8, 16 or 32gb). Just sent him an email asking. I'm thinking $30 or $40 bucks. Even at $60 I could turn a profit parting it out, don't you think?

Thoughts?....

ooo, just noticed it comes with 2 cases...

well, yeh, if you have someone to sell the parts to...

much harder around here with all the miles and miles of nothing !

If you had people that needed certain parts, it would be a good idea to buy it since it's cheap. Are the cases in good shape as well?

No ebay in the boonies?...

As you can tell by the blown speakers and dropped ones here, people always need the parts. Don't know about the cases yet, but ad said he had all original boxes and papers and everything was like new...

Can you pay someone to fix it?

Sent from an orange potato......no, really

My degree is in electrical engineering, so.... Would luv to see if I can remove/separate the glass from the LCD. I could charge $100 for the repair all day long. I doubt it's even possible, but with this I could give it a shot... Could also use it to pour a mold so I could make the perfect dock. Even though I know the cardboard one seems perfect enough already.... :p

Many many things to play with on this thing...

I'm curious how the touchscreen and LCD go together as well. I used to assemble and laminate LCDs for a living in the '90s before there were touchscreens.

If you get your hands on it, make sure you post your breakdown pictures. :D
