I am trying to make a fiberglass tray just like soundman did in the volks CC with magnets. ( iPad mini car dash install in a 2010 VW CC, soundman float mount wireless @soundmanca - YouTube) The only thing im not sure of is if the Nexus 7 will connect to the magnets as well as the ipad? Has anyone tried this method with magnets before? I currently have the N7 installed in my dash, see photo...but its very amateur looking and really not that good. Not too bad for a first time project though.
