I'm sorry I missed this, but can someone please tell me how to take a screenshot with my 2012 Nexus 7 Android 4.4.2 Tablet? Also, where does the screenshot go when you take it? Maybe it goes to the Gallery? Thanks.

Hold volume down and power for a second. The screen will flash. The image will appear in the Gallery in a new Screenshot folder

Thanks very much for responding! I was still a little confused, but I kept pushing around on the Volume button at the same time as I pushed the Power button until I found the sweet spot on the Volume button.

I've found that pressing and holding the power button and a split second later, tapping the volume down works well. Timing, it's very exact.
