Nexus 7 v Galaxy Note 8.0

Hey guys,

I'm also debating whether or not to get the note 8.0 or the new nexus 7. I'm a college student and I was wondering if the larger size of the Note 8.0 really made a difference when reading text books and pdfs compared to the smaller nexus 7. I don't want to buy the Nexus 7 and regret not getting the Note because of the larger display. I don't really care too much for the S-pen, but it is an added bonus and if it's there I'll definitely make use of it. And screen quality isn't an issue for me, I think they both have sufficient quality displays for my use. However, like I said, I'd primarily use it for reading text books/pdfs and secondly media use ie. youtube, social media, web browsing. I'd definitely would like to spend no more than I have to, so if you guys think the Nexus 7 is sufficient enough or the Note 8.0 really has a noticeable edge in terms of real estate comfort I'd really appreciate ya'lls input.

Hey I just bought the new nexus 7 because bestbuy started selling it early. And I can say it is a lot faster and smoother than the first nexus 7. I had to also choose between the two while I was at the store. What I recommend doing is'you should go buy the new nexus 7 at best buy and use it for like 10 days and you should download as many books and PDFs and just any type of file And also try to take as many notes as possible and if you like it then keep it and if not then return it before your 14 days are up and get the note 8.0.This is exactly what im doing just in case I do not like the nexus.

I have the Galaxy Note 2 phone. Was looking at the Galaxy Note 8 tablet. I love it. Went to Best Buy so I could view all the tablets. My choice will be the Galaxy Note. I love having the stylus. It is much better than the type of stylus you get on eBay for the Nexus. Go to Best Buy and play. That is what I did before I got my phone. I played. I am not sorry with my choice.

But you have to carry the stylus somewhere with the nexus. The Note 8 has a place to carry the stylus which is a plus if you are into a stylus.
For $380-$250=$130?
And if screen size is important, why don't go after 10" screen tablet?
