Thinking of ordering the Nexus 7 w/ LTE. Not sure if I should order the Nexus 7 LTE and get the T-Mobile card separately or get it with the T-Mobile SIM with it.

I am thinking of getting on the $30 a month plan for now. Looking this as a tethering option for when my Clear modem looses the tower or when I need to get my laptop on the internet when travelling without paying $$ to the hotel for internet which can be slow enough that dialup would be faster.

Suggestions ?

May as well just get it with the T-Mobile SIM. If you go to T-Mobile to get a SIM, they'll charge you $10 for it.

I'm thinking about picking up an LTE model for T-Mobile too (via the Play Store), and using the 200MB of data you get.

I was thinking of doing that, but T-Mobile is charging $384 for it.

Given the question, perhaps I worded that poorly haha. I am thinking of getting it from the Play Store and for T-Mobile, and using the free 200MB.

Edit: I also may or may not try to install it in my car's dashboard and set up for passengers to be able to Cast to it for music and such. Because Android.

The free 200MB being offered by T-Mobile is why I bought an LTE model earlier today--that, and the new tablet plans from AT&T ($25 for 1GB over three months isn't a bad deal considering I'm on wifi most of the time anyway). Mine is just a regular unlocked model from Best Buy, though. I wanted to buy locally in case I had any problems with it. Plus, all the LTE models were showing as sold out on Google Play earlier today.
