nexus 7 wont turn on

hi, im new and i just bought a nexus 7 32gb from argos and was wondering why it wouldnt turn on?

i tried pressing the power button for 4 seconds, 30-40 seconds, for like a minute, etc..

i tried charging it for like hours and it still wont turn on, it does turn on but just a messy screen like a tv set with no channel/

it is possible the battery has popped out of the motherboard. Check for videos to show you how to open the back of the N7 and you can make sure it is connected.

There have been several reports of that happening because the connection is not secure.

omg but im afraid to open it up and stuff, since its just new and just delivered. i've been also hearing about it that its an operating system update glitch? is that true?

So it does actually turn on but the screen displays random pixels rather than anything useful?
