nexus 9 duplicate home screen apps

Hello everyone,

I just picked up a nexus 9 but I'm having some weird things happen already with the tablet. One thing that keeps happening while the nexus is asleep while charging is duplicate home screen app icons.

Last night I set up my home screen and left it to charge overnight. When I used it this morning I noticed duplicate play store apps, duplicate gmail app icons and others on the home screen that weren't there last night. How do you stop this from happening?

Just picked up + doesn't work right = have it replaced.

It's easy enough to delete the extra icons (it won't delete the app, so it doesn't matter which one you delete), but it shouldn't be happening - a new device should be working correctly, so it may be a sign or trouble later on. I'd exchange it.

Do a full system reset first to see if that fixes it. If not, then I'd say it's defective.
