Nexus and C-pen?

Has anyone used the C-pen with their Nexus? I'm looking at getting a Note for making annotions and notes but if this works well with the nexus it would save me quite a bit of money.

The thing about the Note is that it has a special digitizer that makes it work better with its pen. The "S Pen" is not a normal stylus.

I use the Just Mobile AluPen for my stylus needs (taking notes, sketching) on my Galaxy Nexus and I really love it. You might look in to it. It's cheaper than Samsung's, and I think that it's probably better quality, too. You can use it on any touchscreen device, as well.

I can't get any stylus to work with my gnex. does it require a certain tip? metal vs plastic?
